While I was working for Barefoot Creative, we were approached by the Canadian division of Pioneers, a missions agency that focuses on spreading the Word of God to “unreached” (or non-Christian) areas of the world. They had recently witnessed the rebrand of the American division, and were hoping that a similar brand refresh would help strengthen their organization.
Like many Canadians, their heritage is important to them, which they wanted to portray by continuing to use their old logo. So when the project got passed along to myself, I paired a classic serif with a round sans-serif used in the US brand, along with beautiful photos from their on-site photographer to create a visually bold, yet professional identity.
